Face-Painting and Body-Art For Adults
"I am too old for face painting" is something we hear said. "Not at all!" says Gita of Lapis Lizard. "Face-painting and body-art are for all the times you feel like having fun, and it does not matter whether you are five years old or fifty five!"
Adults may be more self conscious when they decide to have their face painted, but they enjoy the experience in the same way as children do. Often they are surprised at how relaxing it is to be painted and also how much fun it creates.

Of course the designs grown ups choose may be different. Sometimes adults like to be painted as a tiger or a dalmation, but often - particularly with women - we paint beautiful abstract designs, flowers and swirls, which complement the make-up and outfit and become another accessory. "It's one of the areas of our work where a good eye for style and colour co-ordination are very important. For the face painting or painted tattoo to really work on 'the model', each design gets adapted as appropriate in size, colour or complexity."
